Timbre Tales programs are presented free of charge at the SCCT headquarters in downtown Greenville. For each performance, SCCT’s Principal Teaching Artist, Traysie Amick presents a character performance (complete with costumes!) of a children's book. Traysie's dramatic recitation may include cues for audience members to participate through speech and movement, while the Greenville Symphony Orchestra chamber ensembles perform classical pieces selected by Braxton Ballew for each storybook.

Timbre Tales performances are recommended for grades K3-5th, reservations are not required. Performances generally last about 30 minutes. All Timbre Tales performances are held at SCCT Headquarters located at 153 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
