½ DAY ACTING CAMPS
random image A five-day session (Mon- Fri) that explores fun, movement & creative play. Theatre games, beginning character development, basic terminology, acting techniques & creative expression will be taught through acting, movement & games. An informal “sharing” for family and friends will be presented in the final class in the Conservatory Performance Space. It is possible to enroll in more than one camp--the teachers will make every student's experience unique each time, but please realize that the performance material will remain the same for the whole summer. A student taking more than one camp will be given a different role in the play for the performance so that she/he can continue to hone acting skills. Some theatre exercises & activities are used each session, but teachers are sensitive to the needs of returning students, so these camps are appropriate to take several times to further hone skills. Class enrollment – 12 maximum, 6 minimum
