Specialty Class- Explore the Hero’s Mantle

It’s time to be a hero, so put on the Hero’s Mantle because; You Are the Champion the World Is Waiting For.  We will explore the structure of what it takes to be a hero, including: Developing your heroic qualities, Listening for the call to action, Commiting to the quest, and Meeting the dragon.

Whether a knight, a warrior princess, or a space ranger we have an adventure for you!
Explore the basic principles of acting and theatre through exercises that encompass the ideas of stage directions, articulation, and movement.  Students will use their imaginations to develop characters based on the heroic tradition and get the chance to BE the hero, building self-esteem and confidence.  Some homework is required. The last part of the final class will include a “sharing” for friends and families.
