Playbill Advertising

Our upcoming season of five family-friendly plays and musicals is sure to draw even more patrons through the doors than last season and we’d like to put your advertisement in their hands. Each year South Carolina Children's Theatre publishes a Season Playbill in which local area businesses advertise. By choosing to advertise with us your business will be one step closer to the Upstate’s premium target audiences.

Each season our Playbill Advertisers reach approximately 23,000 patrons (with an average annual increase of 10% each year)

  • 95% of our audience members reside in the Upstate area
  • 60% are adults who accompany 40% children
  • are highly educated and make more than $100,000 annually
  • are predominately home owners
  • have twice the propensity of the area’s average consumer to travel and dine out
  • have more discretionary income
  • have more free time than the average consumer for entertainment and recreation

Printing Specifications

Please provide ad copy in either Mac or PC format on CD or email to Vanessa Weber. Be sure to include all fonts and graphics. Graphics and pictures need to be at least 300 dpi for the best reproduction. If submitting your ad on CD, please include a laser proof so we can be sure to meet your design expectations. Special Advertising Opportunity for Child Friendly Downtown Restaurants & Businesses

Since we have found that so many of our patrons make the theatre a special occasion for their children or grandchildren and often visit restaurants & ice cream shops or even shopping before or after the show, our website features a “Before & After” the show page designed to highlight child-friendly eateries and businesses. If you participate, this new page will include your logo, address, phone number, hours of operation and web address. Please visit our Before & After page. Deadline

The deadline for the 2011-2012 Playbill Advertising has been extended please contact Vanessa Weber for more information. SCCT prefers that all applicable payments be remitted with advertising copy. However, if requested, a separate billing can be mailed. Submissions received after the deadline will be accepted only if space is available and final formatting has not been completed. Placement of ads within the program will be determined by the date of receipt on a first-come, first-serve basis, as well as by size and space limitations of the page layout. We will try to honor specific placement requests, but cannot guarantee placement due to layout restrictions.
